You may only use GIEN cookware for heating food in the microwave, not for defrosting food or cooking.
It is best to avoid using GIEN cooking utensils in a microwave oven, exposure to it may cause micro-cracks in the enamel. This is not considered a defect, but it is still recommended to handle fine faience dishes with care so that these dishes can keep their attractive appearance for as long as possible.
The Gien manufactory offers you a range of baked dishes in the most common decors, designed specifically for use in the traditional oven (maximum temperature 250 °C) and in the microwave.
These dishes, made from special heat-resistant ceramics and decorated in our workshops, will help you combine the pleasure of cooking with the pleasure of decorating the table.
